					I was getting coffee at Industrial Grind Coffee and happened to park in front of this Iris Delights.  The catchy decor caught my eye and I decided to go... read more in.  I was extremely delighted to learn EVERYTHING in the shops is gluten free and they have a couple vegan options as well.  I love chocolate and a severe gluten intolerance so finding this place was meant to be.  The owner has a gluten intolerance and the staff was very knowledgable about any other allergens.  The chocolate is neatly presented in a case where all the ingredients are clearly marked.  The designs are stunning and the taste is by far the best I've had in San Diego.  The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the chocolate.  I ordered some right away for my mother who has celiac and lives in Colorado.  Iris contacted me directly and answered my questions about shipping.  She even gave me some recommendations for other gluten free bakeries!  My mother was astonished at the design and taste of the chocolates and loved being able to enjoy them, without the concern of being glutened.  I will definitely be returning for their seasonal Fall flavors.  Dietary restrictions: Completely gluten free facility. All chocolates are gluten free and some vegan options.

The space is cool, clean and inviting, and the phrase "eye candy" is absolutely pun intended. Every piece of luscious chocolate is beautifully molded and brilliantly decorated. There's an extensive range of flavors from predictable (caramel) to super creative (wasabi ganache).



There are a couple of tiny tables if you want to sit and wait for a friend.  I enjoyed chatting with the counter staff about how the chocolates are made (complex) and the other gluten free snacks, like cookies, that are available. If you're looking for a gift or treating yourself to something special, this is a great place to go.
